Example Alerts for Monitoring

Purpose

This document collects screenshot evidence of example alerts from monitoring dashboards across our production environments. This evidence demonstrates that alerting is configured, active, and capable of notifying the appropriate teams when thresholds are breached.

GCP Alerts

Evidence Collection Instructions

  1. Navigate to GCP Monitoring Alerting
  2. Capture a screenshot of an example alert incident (e.g. CPU utilization, memory usage, backup alert, Cloud Run instance count)
  3. The screenshot should include:
  4. Alert policy name
  5. Severity / condition that triggered the alert
  6. Timestamp of the alert
  7. Resource affected
  8. Notification channel(s) targeted
  9. Be sure the date is visible in the screenshot (top-right of mac)

Vercel Alerts

Evidence Collection Instructions

  1. Navigate to the Vercel dashboard for the relevant project
  2. Capture a screenshot of an example alert or notification (e.g. deployment failure, performance degradation, usage threshold)
  3. The screenshot should include:

  5. Timestamp
  6. Affected project / deployment
  7. Notification details
  8. Be sure the date is visible in the screenshot (top-right of mac)
